AZ Singers and AZ Singers Youth are always auditioning new members!
AZ Singers is a performance troupe. We take our talents around the community and perform for events, private parties, nursing homes, hospitals, charity events, etc. Basically, we can perform anywhere anyone wants to hear us.

Theatre Audition Prep
Mondays 4:30-5:30 pm | October 17 – December 5
Join Mr. Michael for this 8-week theatre audition prep class. If your child is interested in auditioning as a theatre major for Bak Middle School of the Arts for the 2024-2025 school year, Mr. Michael will get you prepared on how to do an audition scene with a partner, how to handle cold readings and redirects, and gain confidence to have a successful audition. Open to all 5th grade students.

Voiceover Intro Class

Have you ever dreamed of using your voice for more than just singing? Ever wondered what it would be like to hear your voice in an audiobook, a thrilling video game, or a captivating commercial? In this immersive eight-week intro to voiceover class, you’ll dive headfirst into the world of voice acting. No prior experience is necessary! We’ll equip you with all the industry fundamentals and teach you how to craft a dazzling demo reel. Get ready to embark on a voiceover adventure that will unleash your creativity and bring your voice to life in exciting new ways.

Bak/Dreyfoos Masterclass
December 2 and December 16, 2023 | 10 am – 1 pm
School of the Arts Audition Prep Masterclass is back by popular demand! Are you ready to shine at your auditions? This year, we are offering two exclusive masterclasses. Choose one or both and supercharge your audition skills for success.
We recommend all students take private lessons in order to prepare for their audition. However, we also provide a masterclass taught in a group setting where students will gain all the confidence needed to have a successful audition. We will discuss all the elements of the audition, as well as give each student the opportunity to perform their memorized song in a masterclass setting and gain control of nerves. This workshop has proven to be extremely successful every year!

Mock Auditions
January 6 and January 10, 2024 | 10 am – 1 pm
We offer mock auditions that will provide instant feedback to get ready for the big day. Experience a real audition atmosphere and receive valuable feedback with comments.
