Make sure your camper is as prepared as can be for a new adventure!
Q: Are there weekly themes?
A: Yes, but they are not announced ahead of time. We will draw a theme at random on Monday and help students pick their song according to the theme. No prior preparation is needed from students. We will all learn the theme on Mondays.
Q: Will my child sing in a group or solo?
A: Solo. We are excited to provide the opportunity to perfect singing and performing as a soloist. There will be a group opening song.
Q: Is lunch provided?
A: No. Students should pack their own lunch and snacks. Lunch will be from 12:00-1:00, so parents are welcome to drop off food during that time if they’d like. We ask that you pack a PEANUT and TREE NUT-FREE lunch and snack. There will be campers with allergies, so this makes it a safe environment for everyone. We have a microwave and refrigerator available.
Q: Will lunch be indoors or outdoors?
A: We are planning on doing lunch outdoors under a covered area.
Q: Will campers be required to wear masks?
A: We will follow all CDC suggestions on masks. Masks are currently not required but we welcome all students who prefer to wear one!
Q: What cleaning protocols will we take?
A: We will be sanitizing surfaces throughout the day as well as a performing a full deep clean at the end of each day.
Q: Is aftercare/pre-care available?
A: No. Camp is from 9:00am and 3:00pm. We understand that things happen, but anyone picked up after 3:15pm without a phone call will be charged $1 a minute thereafter.
Q: What time is drop off/ how does drop off work?
A: Drop off is anytime between 8:45 to 9:15. Students will sign in and may only be checked out by those specified in the intake form.
Q: What is the minimum and maximum of campers enrolled.
A: Due to our current times with COVID, we are limiting the camp to 12 campers per week. There is a minimum of 7 campers required for the camp to take place. If we do not meet the minimum, we must cancel the week. Those enrolled would hopefully move to a fuller week.
Q: What if my child is sick?
A: If your child is sick we ask you to please stay home. No refund will be provided, but if a student needs to cancel the whole week due to sickness, the student may join a later week if they are better and have not had COVID. Your child must be 48 hours without a fever to attend to camp.
Q: What should my child wear to camp?
A: Comfortable clothing should be worn daily; come prepared to move and dance! Jazz or character shoes are great to bring if you have them, but sneakers are great too. Please avoid flip-flops and dressy dresses and skirts.
Q: When are the shows on Friday?
A: Campers will prepare all week for an awesome showcase on Fridays at 2pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend; tickets are $5.
Q: How can my child continue vocal lessons after camp?
A: We provide private lessons year around and would love for your child to take private voice lessons with our instructors. We also have a performance troupe called AZ Singers that performs around town and is always looking for new members.
Q: Where are you located?
A: 5301 Lake Worth Rd. Greenacres, FL 33463. Right across the street from the Honda Dealership that is next to Hoffman’s Chocolates.
