Chase Wheeler, born and raised in South Florida, is an aspiring crossover artist of musical theater and opera. Chase began as an instrumentalist and music educator, playing piano, trumpet, oboe, guitar, flute, and clarinet in. As well as being proficient in instrumental pedagogy. Chase has been involved in musical theatre programs, and has participated as the lead roles in Oklahoma!, Beauty and the Beast, Music Man, and Cinderella as the Prince. Chase has studied with various artists and ensembles around the world. He has participated in Anuna’s summer program in Ireland, as well as studied at Los Andes University in Colombia. He has also worked with Grammy producer David Ruttenberg.
Chase graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Voice Performance and Music Education and intending to continue to graduate level. During his undergrad studies, he was able to participate in master classes with Romanian soprano, Virginia Zeani, and Margo Garrett, pianist and vocalist of Juilliard. Chase has enjoyed teaching voice, piano, and music theory for 6 years, and hopes to continue to perform and teach, sharing his love of music around the world.
